Nairne Bremer have sent a statement to the rest of Division One in the Hills Footy League, after they beat up on Hahndorf as part of Round 4 play on Saturday.
The Rams kicked 17 goals to 8 after quarter time to cruise to a 56-point victory, moving them into first on the ladder and keeping them as the only undefeated side in Division One.
The other highlight from the round from Uraidla, as the Tigers squeezed past the Demons by 8 points in one of the games of the year so far.
Elsewhere, the Country Division saw a round of blowouts, headlined by Kersbrook’s 214-point drubbing of Torrens Valley (36.13 229 to 2.2 14).
RIVER MURRAY FOOTBALL LEAGUE (full results here)
Imperial have fired a warning shot in the River Murray Footy League, as they made light work of Mannum as part of Round 5 action on Saturday.
Mannum entered Saturday’s game in a strong patch of form, but the Double Blues comprehensively dominated from start to finish to win by 91 points, moving Imperial into the top five.
In other matches, Southern Mallee moved into second with a 55-point win over Tailem Bend, Coorong beat Mallee Districts by 36 and Mypolonga claimed a key 18-point win over Rambler.
GREAT SOUTHERN FOOTBALL LEAGUE (full results here)
The defending champions in the Great Southern Footy League are back into the top five, with Myponga-Sellicks beating Mount Compass on Saturday to leapfrog them.
The Mudlarks were challenged throughout by the Bulldogs, however managed to slowly pull away for a 31-point win, giving them their third straight victory to move into fifth.
The rest of the round went the way of the top four, with Willunga, McLaren Districts, Encounter Bay and Victor Harbor all tallying comfortable wins.
