Gathered SA is thrilled to be celebrating ten years in style with its biggest ever Christmas Design Market, taking place from Friday 12 to Sunday 14 December at a brand-new location, Alec Johnston Park on Hahndorf’s Main Street.

As part of the Hahndorf Christmas Village celebrations, more than 100 South Australian stallholders will transform the park into a festive wonderland. Visitors can expect the same much-loved Gathered atmosphere, but on a bigger scale with more stallholders, delicious food and drink options, extra seating, and space for families to relax and enjoy. The new park location is perfect for families, with a playground beside the food and bar area, making it easy to shop, eat and enjoy the festivities while supporting South Australian small businesses.
Foodies will be spoilt for choice with an extended line-up of meals, sweet treats, coffee, cocktails, and a fully stocked bar serving local wine, gin, beer and mocktails.
This year’s market will also feature special experiences, including dog-friendly Christmas photo sessions in partnership with local charity Paws for Change, alongside a line-up of entertainment and festive treats.

The Gathered Christmas Design Market will run Friday 12 December (5pm-10pm), Saturday 13 December (3pm-10pm) and Sunday 14 December (3pm-10pm) at Alec Johnston Park, Hahndorf Main Street.

At the Hahndorf Academy Lawns Activation Zone, visitors can take part in creative workshops, enjoy live performances, and let the kids explore interactive activities and festive games.
Throughout the weekend, roaming performers and musicians will fill Main Street with the joyful sounds of Christmas, while over 150 boutique stores take part in late night shopping, offering extended hours, special offers, and beautifully decorated windows.

Visitors can also have their gifts wrapped by the Lions Assistance Dogs team, supporting an important local cause, and enjoy a variety of family friendly activities and entertainment zones spread across the village, ensuring a truly magical and memorable experience for all
