Here’s a list of Christmas events in our region – if you have an event that you’d like us to add please complete the form on our Community Events tab or email the station
Every effort will be made to advise of cancellations but please use the link to the event to confirm that it is still going ahead.
Saturday 8th November
- National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant – throughout Adelaide. Adelaide metro bus, train and trams will be free 6am-2pm

- Encounter Bay Christmas Market – Meet Father Christmas in the fairy garden – stalls – plants – toys – music – fun for the family 10am-3pm

Sunday 30th November
- Tungkillo Christmas Market – Stalls -Santa – Jumping Castle – Kids Games – Food and Drink – Tungkillo Soldiers Memorial Hall 11am-3pm

- Meningie Christmas Pageant – The pageant starts at 2pm and is followed by a fair with local stalls, music and children’s free entertainment.

Friday 5th December
- St Nicholas comes to Hahndorf – 6.30pm-8pm – free sausage sizzle – tea and coffee – Santa Parade – Community Carol singing and Hahndorf Town Band – children’s activities and a free gingerbread gift for children.
Saturday 6th December
- Mt Barker Christmas Pageant – 10.30am – 12 noon. Hosted by our very own Adam Connelly and Jacqui From Maccy – make sure you say hello!

- Mt Barker Carols & Fireworks – NEW LOCATION – Summit Sports and Recreation Park Mt Barker 5pm Free Family Fun – 6.50pm Carols – 9.15pm Fireworks.

- Mannum Christmas pageant. Festivities start at 5pm with facepainting and gifts for littlies and food stalls. After Santa makes his appearance there are fireworks scheduled at 9pm

- Karoonda Christmas Parade – 4pm-9pm Food, entertainment and Christmas cheer
Sunday 7th December
- Goolwa Christmas Pageant from 10am at the Goolwa Sports Stadium, along Goyder, Hay and Cadell Street and finishing on Gardiner Street.

- Murray Bridge Christmas Carols – pre-carols entertainment at 6.30pm – Wharf Precinct – food vendors available – free face painting and small gift for children

- Mt Torrens Christmas Market – 10am – 3pm Mt Torrens Oval – The Mt Pleasant Community Choir will sing from 12:30 pm.
Sunday 7th December
- Mannum Community Christmas Carols – from 6pm – Ambassadors Choir – Soloists – Carols followed by supper and cuppa at the Mannum Lutheran Church.
Thursday 11th December
- Woodside Christmas Parade and Fireworks Show – Steet Party form 6pm-9pm – Moffett Street Market 5.30-9pm – Fireworks 9pm (weather dependent) Temporary Dry Zone Event.
Friday 12th December
- Christmas Where the Angas Flows in the Soldiers Memorial Gardens, Strathalbyn, 2-10pm.
Food stalls from 2pm, and children’s games and free rides start from 4pm. Pageant 6pm, carols and entertainment 7.30pm, and fireworks 9.30pm.

Friday 12th – Sunday 14th December
- Lights of Lobethal Opening Weekend – from live music and street eats to the opening of the Centennial Hall markets, Carols in the Valley and the Living Nativity – it’s a magical weekend of festive celebration and community joy

- Nairne Christmas Twilight Market – 4pm-7.30pm – The main street of Nairne will be closed to traffic and transformed into a vibrant Christmas marketplace
featuring nearly 100 local stallholders. Visitors can enjoy live music, delicious food, and handcrafted
gifts in a safe and festive atmosphere.
Saturday 13th of December
- Tailem Bend Christmas Parade. Festivities start at 4.30pm, with the parade starting from 6pm. There will be music, food, market stalls, vintage cars and a visit from Santa.

- Nairne Carols – 5-8pm – Food and drinks available to purchase at the Nairne School – Father Christmas will attend – Gold Coin donation.

- Stirling – Carols on the Lawn – From 5pm the fun kicks off with free family activities – enjoy a sausage sizzle, slushies, fairy floss, a petting zoo, face painting and plenty more. Then at 6.30pm, settle in on your picnic rug and sing along to Christmas carols.

- Victor Harbor Christmas Pageant – this beloved event features a parade of floats, festive music and the arrival of Father Christmas. There’s a special Artisan Market edition during the pageant.
Sunday 14th of December
- Meadows Carols in the Park 5pm-7pm. Activities from 5pm – Carols from 6pm at Battunga Park
Tuesday 16th December
- Port Elliot Carols in the Park – in the Park adjacent to the Old Council Building on The Strand commencing at 6pm. Food stalls, carols and a visit from Santa.

Saturday 20th December
- Goolwa Christmas Concert & Lights and Lantern Flotilla
Concert at Jaralde Park followed by the flotilla. Event from 6.30pm to 10pm. (Goolwa Community Association Facebook)

Sunday 21st December
- Macclesfield Carols on the Square – starts at 5pm with carols underway at 7pm featuring the Macclesfiels Choir. Hosted by Jacqui from Maccy – Santa will make an appearance – $1 Lions BBQ – Tea, Coffee and Face Painting

Thursday 25th December
- BYO Christmas Day Lunch – Enjoy a Christmas lunch at the Mt Barker Showgrounds – Alexandrina Road Mt Barker – PLUS friendly chatter, games and gifts. Free pass the parcel for children aged 1-12 years. This is a BYO everything event and you must remove your own rubbish. Secret Santa gift exchange – if you’d like to be involved bring a wrapped gift to the value of $10

- Christmas Night Community Meal – Enjoy a variety of meats, fresh salads, hearty vegetables and a selection of delightful desserts at the Mt Barker Uniting Church – Mann Street, Mt Barker from 5.30pm
