IMPORTANT NOTICE TO MARINERS

The maritime radio repeater VHF Ch 83 has become unreliable and is deteriorating. We are concerned that we may miss an urgent call so we have suspended our daily safety monitoring service until it is replaced. The notice attached outlines alternate means for urgent calls or breakdowns. This notice has been posted at boat ramps in the area. A new facility has been ordered and is expected to be in place by early July.
