The final of the nation’s largest drag racing championship has been postponed.
The Spring Nationals grand final for the National Drag Racing Championship was scheduled from today through to Sunday at the Bend, however a forecast of wet weather has forced the organisers to shift the meet.
At time of publishing, Tailem Bend could see any amount between 7 and 30mm of rain across Saturday and Sunday, along with the chance of thunderstorms on Saturday afternoon.

It’s now set for the 20th to 22nd of November, with multiple competitions across the country forced to reschedule their events to accommodate the move.
The Bend says that all tickets remain valid for the new date, with no further action needed from purchasers.
