A young man remains in hospital this morning following a serious motorcycle crash at Paracombe in the Hills.
Police and emergency services were called to Gorge Road around 3.20pm yesterday, where a motorbike crashed into a guardrail and down a steep embankment.
Paramedics attended the scene and the rider, a 22-year-old man from the western suburbs was taken to hospital with critical injuries. At this time, authorities say his condition is not believed to be life-threatening.
Gorge Road was closed to all traffic between Corkscrew Road and Torrens Hill Road while Major Crash and Hills Fleurieu traffic officers attended and examined the scene. The road has since re-opened.
