Encounter Celebration

Encounter Celebration Organisation Victor harbor Inc. is a non-profit organisation, established in 2013 to promote and celebrate the encounter between the French navigator Nicolas Baudin and English navigator Matthew Flinders on 8-9 April 1802 in what is now called Encounter Bay, the waters of the Ngarrindjeri/Ramindjeri people.

You’re welcome to join in a short ceremony acknowledging the meeting which led to the complete mapping of Australia.
