The Bridge Festival

The Rural City of Murray Bridge is excited to introduce the Bridge Festival, coming to Sturt Reserve on Saturday 11 April 2026 from 11am to 3pm as part of Youth Week celebrations.

The Bridge Festival is a new iteration of Council’s very popular Rhyme, Grind and Climb, annual youth event that previously took place in January.
The new format has also expanded to include a broader mix of genres and creative experiences, reflecting the diverse interests of local youth.
Attendees can enjoy a range of hands-on workshops and interactive activities designed to spark creativity, encourage participation and promote wellbeing. Highlights include live music performances, river activities, music workshops, aerosol and visual art sessions, skate park coaching, a rock-climbing wall, laser tag, outdoor games and healthy lifestyle activities.
Delivered in partnership with local youth organisations, the event offers a welcoming and engaging experience for participants of all interests and abilities.
The festival also showcases the impact of Council’s Band Connections and Hip Hop Connect programs and volunteer pathways, supporting young locals to build real-world skills in performance, production, sound engineering, art and event delivery.

This highlights the value of ongoing youth programs and the role of The Station as a vibrant regional
creative hub and vital youth centre for this region.

Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend and support local young people by enjoying this free Youth Week event celebrating creativity, participation and connection.
