Walk Against Domestic Violence
Domestic violence remains a pervasive problem that affects countless lives, causing immeasurable harm to individuals and families locally, nationally and around the world.
The Haven Mount Barker, Zonta Club of Mount Barker and Mount Barker Community Centre are joining together to raise awareness and advocate for a world free from gender-based violence.
If you belong to a sporting group we’d love to see you and your teammates there, walking in your uniforms or club merchandise. You can send a powerful message that your club is not just about excelling in sport but also about being champions for a safer and more equitable society.
If you’re not part of a club, but you’d still like to participate, then we’d love to see you wear orange! Bring your family and friends and together we can walk against domestic violence – make a real difference – one step at a time!
Arrive at Keith Stephenson Park, Mt Barker at 6.15pm and return at 7.15pm for a FREE BBQ
