A Gawler East man has lost his licence after allegedly crashing while allegedly more than five times over the legal alcohol limit at Mt Barker Springs.
Police and emergency services were called to Springs Road about 8.30pm on Saturday the 28th of February after reports a Mazda sedan had crashed into a fence and come to rest in a paddock.
The 35-year-old driver underwent a breath test at the scene and allegedly returned a reading of 0.258. He was issued a 12-month immediate loss of licence and reported for drink driving and aggravated driving without due care.
The Mazda was towed from the scene.
The man will be called into court at a later date.
