A driver has been charged following Thursday’s fatal crash near Blanchetown.
Just after 5.30pm on Thursday 18 May, police were alerted to a crash on the Sturt Highway near Paisley Road involving three cars and a truck.
The driver of a Mitsubishi sedan, a 43-year-old man from Somerton Park sadly died at the scene.
A 26-year-old woman from Swan Reach driving a Holden sedan was taken to the Angaston Hospital with minor injuries and a 27-year-old man driving a Nissan sedan was taken to the Lyell McEwin Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The truck driver was not injured.
The Nissan sedan driver, a 27-year-old West Croydon man, has lost his licence and has been charged for cause death by dangerous driving. He has been bailed to appear in the Waikerie Magistrates Court on 3 July.
