A driver has been rescued after crashing into a creek at Montacute in the Adelaide Hills early this morning, Wednesday the 22nd of October.
At around 2am, the 56-year-old man from Nairne sent a text message to a family member but was unable to provide his location. Police patrols searched the area around Woodside before spotting the vehicle on its side in a creek bed off Montacute Road just after 4.30am.
Emergency services extricated the man from the car. He was not seriously injured but was taken to hospital as a precaution. His vehicle was towed from the creek.
Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
Police are urging all motorists to take care on Adelaide Hills roads.
