Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash at Parawa on the Fleurieu Peninsula that left five people injured.
Emergency services were called to Range Road just before 10.20am on Monday after reports a Mitsubishi SUV and Toyota van had collided.
The driver of the Mitsubishi, a 43-year-old man from Modbury, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries along with four passengers – a 40-year-old woman, a 13-year-old boy, a 9-year-old girl and a 7-year-old girl.
The driver and sole occupant of the Toyota, a 71-year-old Goolwa Beach man, was also taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Range Road was closed to traffic for several hours before reopening about 2pm.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
