A 77-year-old Kersbrook man has been taken to hospital after his car crashed into a tree at Chain of Ponds last night.
Emergency services were called to the single-vehicle crash near the intersection of South Para Road and Adelaide Gully Road at about 6.45pm on Sunday the 12th of April.
Police say the man was driving a Hyundai sedan when it left the road and struck a tree. He was taken by ambulance to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The vehicle was badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
South Para Road was closed to traffic for several hours while emergency crews worked at the site, reopening shortly after 9pm.
Police investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are continuing.
