A young driver is facing a raft of charges after he was caught hooning on Kintore Avenue in Murray Bridge.
Police responded to calls around 9pm on Wednesday evening from multiple residents nearby, who said a maroon Ford sedan was doing burnouts and hooning.
Upon investigation, police found the vehicle nearby and located the driver, a 19-year-old local.
The learner driver was breath tested and allegedly returned a reading of 0.071.
He was reported for drink driving, driving unregistered, misuse of a motor vehicle, driving whilst suspended and with no qualified supervising driver.
He’ll face the Murray Bridge magistrates court at a later date, with his car also being impounded for 28 days.
