Saturday cricket has finished for the calendar year across our regions, with the separation between the best and rest starting to become clearer. Catch up on all the action here:

GREAT SOUTHERN CRICKET ASSOCIATION (full scorecards here)

Encounter Bay, Yankalilla and Port Elliot have all gotten massive boosts ahead of Christmas, after a lopsided set of two-day matches for Round 6 in the Great Southern Cricket Association.

Both Encounter Bay and Yankalilla went on with strong starts to win outright against Victor Harbor and Willunga respectively, while Port Elliot dismissed Mount Compass for just 96, giving them a 223-run win.

The other match from the round saw Goolwa win on first innings over McLaren Districts, after they successfully chased down 134.

MURRAY TOWNS CRICKET ASSOCIATION (full scorecards here)

The top four in the Murray Towns Cricket Association is taking shape after Saturday’s Round 9 play.

Mannum and the Wanderers both remained undefeated with comfortable wins over Jervois and Tailem Bend respectively, while the Ramblers stayed in third with a seven-wicket win over Monarto.

Mypolonga also now have a buffer in fourth due to their impressive net run rate, helped along by a 210-run belting of Meningie.

ALEXANDRA AND EASTERN HILLS/HILLS CRICKET ASSOCIATIONS (AEHCA scorecards here, HCA scorecards here)

The three mainstays of the Alexandra and Eastern Hills have moved clear after Round 10 action on Saturday. 

Lobethal knocked Wistow out of the top three with a comprehensive 103-run win, while Nairne and Langhorne Creek moved up with big wins over Woodside and Strathalbyn.

Over in the Hills Cricket Association, Aldgate has climbed into third with a three-wicket win over Kangarilla, with Stirling and Uraidla also tallying comfortable wins.
