Lobethal has fired a warning shot in the Alexandra and Eastern Hills Cricket Association by belting Hahndorf by 279 runs on Saturday.
The ladder leaders made 8/367 on the back of half-centuries from Sam Martin, Tanner King and Matt Martin, before Mitch Weeks bulldozed through to take 6/12.
Other games from the round saw Nairne and Langhorne Creek move up the table with important wins, while Strath moved to the edge of the finals picture with a tight win over Woodside.

The two best teams in the Murray Towns Cricket Association are starting to separate from the rest of the league, with Saturday’s action showing the divide.
Mannum made light work of Mypolonga and the Wanderers cruised past Monarto to both win by seven wickets, moving them well clear in the top two.
Elsewhere, Ramblers moved to third with a three-wicket win over Jervois and Meningie beat Tailem Bend by five wickets to tally their first win of the season.

Day One of Round Six action in the Great Southern Cricket Association on Saturday was lopsided, with all four matches dominated by one team.
Tyson Levy’s stunning 124 not out guided league leaders Port Elliot to 9/319 against Mount Compass, with Jaspa Tonkin also making a run-a-ball 83 at the top of the order.
In other matches, Goolwa are 0/35 in reply to McLaren Districts’ 134, and Yankalilla and Encounter Bay have already banked first innings points in their games.

Aldgate has handed Stirling their first loss of the Hills Cricket Association season on Saturday, as part of Round 9 play.
Josh Callaghan fell agonisingly short of a century with a run-a-ball 97, however Aldgate’s 7/239 was enough to help them knock off the league leaders.
Elsewhere, Mount Lofty jumped into second with a seven-wicket win over Scott Creek Ironbank, while Kangarilla beat Uraidla by five wickets.
