GREAT SOUTHERN FOOTBALL LEAGUE (full results here)
Two thrillers headlined the Great Southern Footy League’s ANZAC round on Saturday, with Encounter Bay and McLaren Districts remaining undefeated in one-kick games.
The Bays held on for a six-point win over Victor Harbor (10.7 67 to 9.7 61) who still haven’t won in their premiership defence, while McLaren Districts came from behind to win a top-four blockbuster against Willunga by a single point (12.7 79 to 12.6 78).
Elsewhere, Langhorne Creek also remained undefeated with a comfortable 48-point win over Strathalbyn (15.13 103 to 8.7 55), and Mount Compass and Myponga-Sellicks won big.
HILLS FOOTBALL LEAGUE (Division One results here, Country Division results here)
Mount Lofty are the last side in Division One of the Hills Footy League without a loss, after another unpredictable round on Saturday.
The Devils were inaccurate but held on in a four-point thriller against Uraidla Districts (13.17 95 to 14.7 91), moving them to the top of the table.
Onkaparinga Valley weren’t so fortunate, kicking 5.17 in a 7-point loss to Lobethal (8.6 54 to 5.17 47) and Nairne Bremer are still winless in 2026 after Blackwood surged home to beat them by 35 (14.18 102 to 9.11 65).
Over in the Country Division, Macclesfield beat Meadows by 2 points in a classic between contenders (12.11 83 to 11.15 81) and Kangarilla won a key clash against Birdwood to win by 27 points (15.8 98 to 10.11 71).
RIVER MURRAY FOOTBALL LEAGUE (full results here)
The Coorong Cats have remained undefeated in the River Murray Footy League but may be lucky to have done so, after they held off an inaccurate Southern Mallee in Tintinara on Saturday.
The Suns had five more scoring shots but went down by 10 points (11.5 71 to 8.13 61), kicking 3.8 to 4.1 in the first half to miss their chance at a statement win on the road.
Other Round 3 results were lopsided, with Imperial and Tailem Bend making light work of their opponents, while Jervois beat Mallee Districts by 47 (17.14 116 to 10.9 69).
