The Mount Barker District Council is inviting residents to shape the future of the old Mountain Pool site.
Locals are being asked their thoughts on how the 8,000sqm block at Cameron Road should be transformed, with suggestions ranging from open lawns and barbeque areas to new recreation facilities.
Council has confirmed the site will be kept as community space, rather than developed for housing or retail.

The Mountain Pool’s replacement at the Summit Aquatic and Recreation Centre has been widely praised by those who went to the try-out day on Saturday.
