Pair Accused of Murray Bridge Burnouts in Stolen Car

Two people from Victoria have been arrested in Murray Bridge after police allege they were caught doing burnouts in a stolen car.

Just after midnight on Saturday the 12th of July, patrols were called to a housing development area on Old Swanport Road following reports of a gold Ford Kuga driving dangerously across paddocks.

Police soon stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver, a 20-year-old man, and his passenger, a 16-year-old girl. Checks later revealed the car had allegedly been stolen from Wantirna in Victoria.

Both have been charged with several offences, including illegal use of a motor vehicle, driving unlicenced and misuse of a motor vehicle.

The pair were refused bail and were due to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on Monday the 14th of July 2025.
