Police have arrested a man after a domestic assault at Kenton Valley.
About 10.50am yesterday, Tuesday 21 April, police and paramedics were called to a home on Kenton Valley Road after reports of a serious assault.
When police arrived, they located a 33-year-old man with a stab wound to the abdomen. He was airlifted to hospital for medical treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.
A 66-year-old woman was also found with minor injuries to her face. She did not require medical treatment.
A 30-year-old man was taken into police custody at the scene. He had also sustained injuries during the incident and was taken to hospital for medical treatment and assessment.
He is expected to face charges when medically fit.
