A truck driver who deliberately tried to stop a car behind him from overtaking has been issued a hefty fine.
Police allege that the truck driver, a 48-year-old man from Hackham West, straddled overtaking lanes on Victor Harbor Road at Mount Jagged last Wednesday, whilst also hitting the brakes sporadically to slow down the car behind him.
Dashcam footage from the car was handed over to police, with the truck driver identified soon after.

He’s copped an $1171 fine, along with the accumulation of five demerit points.
