CFS volunteers have responded to a fire, which has destroyed two old cottages on a property on Victor Harbor Road at Hindmarsh Valley.
Firefighters on two CFS trucks and a Bulk Water Carrier, supported by a further two MFS trucks, were called to the incident at 5:30pm and worked offensively to contain the fire to the cottages within 45 minutes.
The stone cottages are not the owner’s primary residence, and no one was injured in the fire.

Firefighters remained on scene during the evening, extinguishing the fire and putting out hot spots. SA Police and SA Ambulance Service attended.
Total losses are estimated to be approximately $130,000 and Fire Investigators are attending the scene today to determine the cause.
