Two Serious Murraylands Crashes on Saturday

Two crashes in the Murraylands on Saturday afternoon resulted in the hospitalisation of two drivers and three passengers.

Just after 3pm, Saturday the 15th of August, a 67-year-old Aldinga Beach woman was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries after her Toyota ute was involved in a single-vehicle crash on the Karoonda Highway at Wynarka. The highway was closed for several hours but has since reopened.

Then just before 4pm, a Nissan SUV collided with a stobie pole on Jervois Road in Murray Bridge South. The 18-year-old male driver was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, and three passengers suffered injuries that were non-life-threatening. Roads were closed for several hours before reopening.
