Firefighters are at the scene of a grass fire at Randell Road near Palmer in the Murraylands.
Approximately 50 CFS firefighters have been on the fireground during the morning, supported by 6 aircraft, including firebombers and observational aircraft.
The operations are also being supported by SA Police and SA Power Networks.
An Advice Message is current for the area (11.50am), after being downgraded from an earlier Watch and Act issued an hour earlier.
The threat of this fire has reduced however people are reminded to take care in the area. Smoke will reduce visibility in the area and there is a risk of falling trees and branches.
Emergency services may be working on and around roads in the area, and motorists are advised to stay away. If you need to travel on roads in the area, please take care and drive to the local conditions.
