Mypolonga has sent another statement in the Murray Towns Cricket Association, bowling Meningie out for just 51 in their seven-wicket win on Saturday.

Camron Jorgensen and Riley Walton both took four wickets each in a dominant bowling display, which kept the Tigers on top of the table. 

Other round six results saw Mannum pick up a key 56-run win over the Wanderers, while Monarto beat Tailem Bend by 52 runs.

Scott Creek Ironbank now sit alone atop the Hills Cricket Association after a thrilling 8-run win over Mount Lofty in Round 6 action on Saturday. 

Adam Shearwood’s 104 guided the home side to 235, a total it was forced to defend until the final balls as a Tim Noble-led fightback from Mount Lofty fell short.

The other key match from the round saw Aldgate fall back to second at the hands of the in-form Kangarilla. 

Over in the Alexandra and Eastern Hills, the top four all won against their bottom four opponents.

Encounter Bay have belted an enormous score on Day 1 of Round 5 action in the Great Southern Cricket Association on Saturday. 

The league leading Eagles made 6/394 against Mount Compass, with Matt Overall making a brilliant 189 not out along with Cameron Lintern making 95.

Other results from Day 1 sees two key matches sitting in the balance, with Noarlunga making 208 against Yankalilla and Port Elliot making 218 against Myponga-Sellicks.
