Cudlee Creek Crash Claims Life of Motorcyclist

A man has died following a crash at Cudlee Creek.

Just after 2.30pm yesterday (Sunday 5 November), police and emergency services were called to Cudlee Creek Road near Hannaford Road after reports that a Honda motorcycle and Citroen sedan had collided.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 58-year-old St. Agnes man died at the scene.

The driver of the sedan, a 67-year-old St. Agnes man suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. His passenger, a 64-year-old St. Agnes woman was not injured.

Major Crash officers attended the scene to examine the circumstances of the collision.

Cudlee Creek Road was closed for several hours but has since reopened.

The man’s death is the 97th life lost on South Australian roads this year, compared to 60 at this time last year. He is also the 19th motorcyclist to die in a crash this year.
