Driver Charged for Doing Donuts in Murray Bridge

A car has been impounded after a disqualified driver from Adelaide’s western suburbs allegedly conducted doughnuts in Murray Bridge.

About 7.50pm on Monday 11 December, Murray Bridge Police allegedly spotted a black Ford Falcon travelling at speed as it turned onto Swanport Road at Murray Bridge.

They say the driver then conducted two donuts in both the north and south bound lanes of Swanport Road, while there were numerous other vehicles in the area.

Police stopped the car and spoke to the driver, a 27-year-old man from Kidman Park.

Police reported the man for misuse of a motor vehicle, driving in a manner dangerous, driving whilst being disqualified and failing to maintain vehicle standards.  The vehicle was defected and impounded for 28 days.  

The driver will be summonsed to Murray Bridge Magistrates Court at a later date.
