A motorcyclist has died following a collision with a kangaroo at Eba in the Murray Mallee.
Emergency services were called to Stock Route Road about 8.50am Thursday 7 December, following reports that a motorcyclist had collided with a kangaroo.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, an 85-year-old man from Morgan, died at the scene.

Stock Route Road was closed to all traffic for several hours whilst Major Crash Investigators attended the scene but has since re-opened.
The man’s death is the 105th life lost on South Australian roads this year, compared to 65 at the same time last year. He is the 21st motorcyclist to lose his life in 2023.
