A 24-year old man from Mt Barker has died overnight following a serious crash in the Adelaide Hills.
Just before 3.30pm on Monday 25 September, the man’s car left the road and went about 20 metres down an embankment on Mount Lofty Summit Road, Cleland.
He was removed from the wreckage by emergency crews, and was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a critical condition.
He died overnight in hospital.
Mount Lofty Summit Road was closed for several hours while Major Crash officers examined the scene but was reopened about 7pm.

The man’s death is the 84th life lost on SA roads compared with 55 at the same time last year.
