Nairne Bremer’s premiership defence in Division One of the Hills Football League continued to gather momentum on Saturday, as they breezed past fellow top-four side Onkaparinga Valley.
Round Seven’s most anticipated match was one-way traffic from the get-go as the Rams won by 38 points, helping them to move into third while the Dogs fell to fifth with the loss.
Other matches from the round saw Mount Lofty, Mount Barker and Uraidla Districts all claim expected wins.
In the Country Division, Kersbrook has made a big statement by handing Meadows their second loss in a row to move into the four, while Gumeracha beat top-four hopefuls Birdwood by 32 points to remain on top.

Willunga’s time at the top of the Great Southern Footy League appears to now be over after Yankalilla upset them by 18 points on Saturday as part of Round Seven action.
The Tigers finished strongly to tally just their 8th win in their last 59 matches, leaving the Demons winless for 2024 after three straight grand final appearances.
At the other end of the table, Victor Harbor have cemented themselves as firm favourites to claim the flag after cruising past fellow contenders Myponga-Sellicks to win by 46.
Encounter Bay and Langhorne Creek also kept up their winning ways, while McLaren Districts beat Goolwa/Port Elliot by a whopping 180 points.
RIVER MURRAY FOOTBALL LEAGUE (full results here)
Mypolonga has moved into the top four of the River Murray Footy League after outlasting Mannum to win by 6 points in Round 7 action on Saturday.
The Tigers held their nerve as they withstood multiple charges from the Roos throughout the match, with Mypolonga winning 9.10 64 to 8.10 58.
The rest of the matches from the round saw the Coorong Cats and Southern Mallee win big, while Jervois survived an upset scare from Tailem Bend to win by just 10 points.
